Initial Comment:
All the documentation says that Serendipity supports >= 4.1.2.

I am using 4.2.2 and it on loading the first page it reports:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_regenerate_id() in /var/www/html/serendipity/serendipity_config.inc.php on line 11

The PHP manual states that this function only came in at PHP 4 >= 4.3.2, PHP 5.


You must either raise the minimum PHP version or use an function_exists and create something that does the same job.
