Category: Plugins Group: None >Status: Open Resolution: Works For Me Priority: 1 Private: No Submitted By: Joachim Breitner (joachimbreitner) Assigned to: Garvin Hicking (garvinhicking) Summary: Manual entry URL setting Initial Comment: Hi, sometimes, for long entry titles, the created entry URL is very ugly. Therefore, Id like to see a plugin that allows me to manually specify the entry URL part after the ID. Thanks, Joachim ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Joachim Breitner (joachimbreitner) Date: 2008-08-02 13:40 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=333689 Originator: YES Hi Garvin, thanks to your response. I was under the impression that the Custom Permalinks plugin just allows for an additional URL for the entry, instead of changing the canonical URL that gets, for example, put in the RSS feed. Ill check that some time later, Thanks, Joachim ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Garvin Hicking (garvinhicking) Date: 2008-08-02 10:59 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=473563 Originator: NO Hi! Have you tried the "Custom Permalinks" event plugins? This allows you to define a complete permalink for each article.
