Category: Administrative functions >Group: Future Release Status: Open >Priority: 3 Private: No Submitted By: Helmut Tessarek (tessus) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: support for IBM DB2 Initial Comment: I would like to see support for IBM DB2. DB2 is used more and more, even in the private sector, especially since Express-C is available. You can send me any questions regarding DB2 and the ibm_db2 PHP driver. Furthermore I can do a code review. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Garvin Hicking (garvinhicking) Date: 2009-07-22 16:52 Message: Hi! Sadly none of our developers use DB2 or have had any experience with it, so we'd need volunteer help for this. s9y has a very simple DB layer, found in the include/db/ directory, which just emulates simple SQL statements. AFAIK DB2 has a non-ANSI-SQL command set, so many things would need to be rewritten?
