Preview with 1.2 LITE

I'm using 1.2 LITE.

It seems that preview does not work when adding media content with  
the WYSWIG interface.  The content isn't present in the preview or  
WYSIWYG editor on the subsequent page.
Has anyone else experienced this?  I haven't taken the time to see  
exactly where it is broken - I'm working on a very restrictive  
hosting provider site for a non-profit at the moment.
