If at the first attempt at completion there are multiple options but then all
but one disappear, subsequent attempt doesn't insert the remaining option

  spoon:~ vg$ mkdir test
  spoon:~ vg$ cd !$
  cd test
  spoon:test vg$ touch a b
  spoon:test vg$ rm _<Tab> <Tab>_
  a  b

  _<delete a>_

  spoon:test vg$ rm _<Tab>_
  b
  spoon:test vg$ rm
