Going through my list of patches pending review or application, the
following appear to be "obsolete":

53656 (variable hopping)
53666 (empty string nameref)
53740 (simplify setscope -- replaced by 54063)
53688,53782 (prereqs for 53740)
53739 (typeset -- replaced by 53790)

And from way back in 2021:

47876 Allow more scripts without #! (doesn't come close to applying any more)
