Interesting that that can be parsed so tersely.  But I guess if the 
presumption is that there's only single chars there, then 'cx' must be 
'c' and 'x' so there's no confusion.  As you describe it, that syntax is 
both older and better, so what's the use of the '{a..c}' form? Must have 
been invented for a reason.
