--=-DJ62aQBr0QE9gilUfbYk Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit SourceID is pleased to announce the immediate availability of two new software packages: - SourceID.Java, version 1.1 (Beta 1) - SAML 1.1 Add-on Pack for SourceID (Beta 1) SourceID.Java version 1.1 fixes several known bugs in SourceID 1.0, and adds additional support for custom attribute insertion into Liberty Protocol assertions. By way of a new "AssertionProvider" interface and configurable plug-in point, the Identity Provider developer now has control over the outbound Liberty Protocol assertions, and can enhance or modify them at will before they are sent back to Service Providers. In addition, the sample applications (on the Service Provider side) have additional conditional logic to display, as a convenience, any "extra attributes" which may have been included in the original authentication assertion. In addition, we have provided an add-on pack for SAML version 1.1. The SAML 1.1 Add-on Pack is an extra Java "jar" file which, when deployed within an existing SourceID-enabled web application, provides Java wrappers and utility functions for creating, parsing, signing, verifying, transmitting, and receiving SAML 1.1 messages. The SAML 1.1 Add-on Pack also includes samples for implementing the two most important SAML single sign-on profiles - Post and Artifact. These two packages are available for download from the "Distributions" page at SourceID.org, and are supported on the same mailing lists as the rest of the SourceID software. We encourage you to download these packages and provide feedback to this community for further enhancements!
