Bryan: Let's go ahead and set it up. Even if my own internal project efforts fizzle due to lack of managerial support or a change in direction (still remains to be seen), at least the concepts will be out there for others to see and I can hand off the baton to someone else... Do you have a CVS repository I should work from? Oh, and by the way: I'm also greatly interested in your own Tomcat work, which you mentioned in http://mail.sourceid.org/pipermail/sso-dev/2003-March/000002.html <http://mail.sourceid.org/pipermail/sso-dev/2003-March/000002.html> even though you warn of the nightmare that can ensue from trying to get it to work. jpt -----Original Message----- From: Bryan Field-Elliot [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2003 11:37 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [SourceID SSO-dev] JAAS Interface to sourceid This sounds great James! I don't want you to have to take this effort to SourceForge, we can set you up with an experimental branch here at SourceID. I can set up a separate Wiki page for you for the JAAS module, where you can post files and other notes etc., during the development of this branch. Once we agree it's working well and doesn't impact the rest of the system, we can merge it back into the baseline. We're between major releases of SourceID at the moment, which means this is a good time to do it. If this sounds like the right approach to you, then I'll set up the page today and make sure you've got editor authorization. Thanks for bringing these ideas forward! _____ Bryan Field-Elliot CTO, Ping Identity Corporation Federated Identity Management Solutions Info: http://pingidentity.com <http://pingidentity.com> Email: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>
