SubjectConfirmationData

When the Assertion xml is created in my identity provider using Java, I 
get a xsi:type of java:java.lang.String.  I have a .NET service provider 
that is connecting to me who obviously has problems with that namespace. 
  Has anyone run into this problem before?  Do I have something 
misconfigured?
