Antonio and Prasad, Even if the two web applications are on the same domain, enabling them to perform single sign-on via a standard protocol (like Liberty ID-FF) is forward-thinking in a good way, as it may be the case that one day the two web apps are deployed separately (e.g. not on the same domain).
