Hello Masahito, We became aware of the problem you describe below just a week or so ago, as others have run into it as well. We believe the problem is that the IBM JDK which ships with WAS 5.1, does not contain the same built-in encryption algorithms that the Sun JDK does. We have speculated that this might be because the IBM JDK in question, was built to conform to U.S. Export laws, which prohibits bundling of strong encryption algorithms in downloadable code. We are working to verify this now. If correct, then there is probably an add-on library which you could obtain from IBM, which contains these algorithms. Another possible source is to download the Bouncy Castle encryption libraries, here: http://www.bouncycastle.org/ We are NOT recommending you take that course of action (Bouncy Castle) -- we are simply providing the link to that website, for you to read the information available and make your own decision about whether or not to download and use it. Just to be clear - the preferred solution is to obtain the encryption libraries from IBM, not from any 3rd party, as those will be the libraries supported officially by IBM and WAS. But at this time we don't have more specific information about where to go, or what to download, from IBM. Thank you, Bryan Field-Elliot Ping Identity Corporation _______________________________________________ sso-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.sourceid.org/mailman/listinfo/sso-users
