    I port dap v3.7 to os/2 using Gcc and all went ok.

Thanks for the report.  Sadly, I didn't realize that the --version
output was defined separately when I made the 3.7 distribution.  Well,
since there are no changes to the code, I'm not too excited about making
another release just to fix that number ...
