    I'm just looking at your product as a free alternative to "S*S".
    All the stuff I see on the site seems few years old and there doesn't
    seem to have much activity on the forums.  Is the project still alive ?

Yes, it's alive, although it's certainly true there isn't a lot of
frenetic activity.  (The last release was in 2008.  That's not *that*
long ago. :)

    If yes, did anybody tried to port this to windows ?  We would like to
    use it at work but our server is a W2K3 machine.  We have cygwin
    installed.  Would it compile with cygwin gcc and some tools ?

There are some previous messages in the archives about Windows.  Susan
(the author of dap) said then that it did work for her under Cygwin, but
not native Windows.
