Rockbox uses talk clips only for voicing filenames. For speaking menus
it uses a so-called voicefile. If the voicefile has been generated
using a different voice it obviously sounds different. You can use
Rockbox Utility for generating both voicefile and talk clips, in which
case you will get the same voice used (unless, of course, you
intentionally change the voice used).

If you use the prerendered voicefile it is to be expected to sound
different than talk clips.
