Havez you tried to adjust the sapi settings in the rockbox utility? Maybe that will kind of solve the problem... Kind regards Roland _____ From: rockbox [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Glenn Sent: 17 August 2013 06:57 PM To: Rockbox Subject: making an English.voice file Hi, I wonder if it is possible for someone without an iPod video to make an English.voice file for me. I use English-US. Years ago with a different computer, I was able to do this, but for some reason, all the files I create do not give me any sound. The downloadable festival voice works. I don't know if it is because all the TTS engines I have installed are all 22 KHZ, and if only a 16 KHZ voice will work? I had the idea that someone who can produce a voice can just select the iPod Video in the list of devices and make the voice and send it my way.
