Thanks for your responses.

First of all, a mislabel, it's not a clip zip it's a clip+.

Second, this has had extensive use, almost on a daily basis.

The sd card isn't the problem, I think it's internal, if I can iron
that out, I think the sd card will come back and be recognized as
normal, doesn't rockbox bridge to the computer a pass through on the
sd card. I have removed it while troubleshooting.

Booting in to the original firmware, well at least it worked. But it
got no further, still can't do anything with the player.

I'm assuming it's dead.
