Did you try flashing back to 3.13 ? I had no such trouble with my zip and none has been reported so I'd guess it's beyond my understanding but the release should work as good as the build. When you flash rb using rb do you use the rockbox utility (auto installer) or is that for windows only ? If not then then you are flashing manually so could it be that some file is corrupted ?

Objet : Latest build (e3cc0ca) working great with Clip Zip

Hi folks,

I had been quietly and happily using rockbox 3.13 on a Clip+ for the
last year, until recently frying it by plugging a USB hub into the
wrong ampage plug (oops). So I just got a Clip Zip, to put rockbox
on.

Flashing 3.13 onto the Zip went fine, but whenever I tried to mount
the uSD or internal storage (tested from Linux) it would freeze and
the mounting would eventually fail, and the device would need to be
turned off by holding the power button. Mounting and file transfers
still worked fine with the original firmware and the safe mode
(holding select when powering on).

So I decided to try flashing the latest build, and to my delight
everything works great now. So, thanks so much, and I'll report any
issues I see with the testing image, but so far it's rock solid and
lacks the usb mounting issues in 3.13.

You folks rock.

Nick
