Hello. I'm using Rockbox on my iPod Classic (6th gen, 160 GB storage). 2 days ago I've decided to update my music on the iPod. Since I've changed some stuff around, I backed up my music directory "/Music" on the iPod to "/Music_bak" and copied over all of my newest music from my PC to a new "/Music" directory on my iPod. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but when copying over the music, I got multiple errors from "cp" (i'm on Linux) all being of the type "cp: cannot create regular file ‘<filename>’: Invalid argument" where "filename" is a song whose filename contains accented characters. Those files weren't copied over but I remember that, when I used Windows to do the same thing, everything copied over fine even though some songs had accented characters in their filenames. Now I can't use my iPod anymore. 10-15 seconds after booting into Rockbox I get a white screen with an error message saying: "SWI at 00000018". I couldn't find much information on this error so I decided to ask here. The error doesn't seem to appear if it's connected via USB to the PC (not just charging) -- once I disconnect it or connect it while holding a button (so it only charges), after 10-15 seconds the same thing happens. Other than backing up my old music directory, making a new one and copying over my music I haven't made any other changes. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it? Also, if anyone could give a few suggestions regarding the cp error, I would greatly appreciate it.
