Hi Glenn,

I make my voice files with Win XP. I can't make a Voice File with Win 7. When I try it with win 7 Rockbox utility either crashes or I get an error message about not finding something ...
If you want, I will create an english File for you. But I have only an Australian voice. If that is ok for you, I will create the File for you tomorrow.

Subject: still cannot make voice file for Sansa Clip+

Hi,
I have done this a dozen times or more.
I have tried both creating voice files, and then checking the clip, and it is still the downloaded one, and then I create it and then I install it, and the progress window indicates it is downloading it, first, which is not the voice I am trying to have in my menus.
The TTS engine on my computer works for the talk files (files and folders), but it is not working for the menu (EnglishUS.Voice).
I did this all the time years ago on an iPod, (different computer), but this is a newer computer, with Windows 7.
I really don't wish to mess with it any more, unless nobody is willing to just make an English US voice for me.
Although I have been away from Rockbox for a long time, it should not be this difficult.
Thanks for any help.
Glenn
