I had read several places on the Internet that it should be possible to 
replace the old hard drive with solid state drive or other media, which 
should make it possible to increase the storage space on an Iriver 
significantly. When I bought an H340 in mint condition about a year ago, 
I decided to see if I could succeed in updating the storage media on it. 
After some more searching, I found this thread which sent me in the 
right direction. Then it was just to order the necessary components, 
wait for them to be delivered in my snailmail box, and just go ahead. :-)
