A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.

User who did this - Tyler Johnson (HaloNachos117)

Attached to Project - Rockbox
Summary - Sandisk Fuze+ won't boot with daily builds.
Task Type - Bugs
Category - Bootloader
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - Sansa Fuze+
Severity - Critical
Priority - Very Low
Reported Version - Daily build (which?)
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - Whenever I try to use a daily build, the bootloader crashes, saying "Loading firmware file too big". Reverting back to the last stable build fixes that. As of Sunday, May 24, 2026, I don't think any of the daily builds work. (Granted, I only tested half of them, but that included both the newest one available - cfbbf5b488, and the oldest one I could find - bc528c4079.)

This is on a Sandisk Sansa Fuze+. (The one with a touchpad. This is NOT a Fuze v1, nor is it a Fuze v2. And yes, I did install the correct firmware.)

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Install a daily build.
  2. Power on the player.

Since this renders the device unusable, I think this counts as a "critical" severity.
