A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.

User who did this - neofright (neofright)

Attached to Project - Rockbox
Summary - iAP PCM audio fails on Designware (iPod Classic + Eros Q) USB targets
Task Type - Bugs
Category - Drivers
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - iPod Classic
Severity - Low
Priority - Very Low
Reported Version - Daily build (which?)
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - Mojyack appears to have paused development on libiap and Rockbox integration so I would like to get this working if possible.

Currently, this works correctly only on targets using the ARC USB driver such as the iPod Video.

I initially made a forum post here [[https://forums.rockbox.org/index.php/topic,55818.0.html]] with a patch for the firmware/drivers/usb-designware.c driver which "fixed" the iPod Classic streaming digital audio to accessories. This patch was taken from the rockpod fork of Rockbox on GitHub by nuxcodes (many of the commits in this repo appear to be LLM generated).

Since then, there have been a number of commits trying to make the driver more accurate:

However, when using a master build I have been unable to get either my iPod Classic or Eros Q to stream audio correctly to my car.

If I can gather iAP debug logf data for the handshake that happens I will try to upload it to this issue.
