Hi Thomas,

I recommend Millennium Computer Maintenance Inc.

You could try Gord Stitt at 416-726-8917 (North American Eastern Time).

They are heavily into replacing preprinted forms with laser printed forms.

They will probably recommend Lexmark printers because you can download barcode fonts into the printer and then use the barcode fonts from within BPCS.

Reading barcodes into BPCS should be fairly easy.

Putting barcodes into BPCS generated PDFs or BPCS generated email might be a little more complicated but should not be impossible.

Combining BPCS data and barcodes into a web page might be a more complicated but should not be impossible.

You would need some sort of screen-scraping technology to put barcodes onto BPCS screens.

Best Regards,

Peter.

subject: [BPCS-L] Bar Coding on BPCS

Hi,

We're looking for recommendations or suggestions on incorporating bar coding into BPCS from scratch.
BPCS versions 405CD and XL. Looking for suggested suppliers of hardware and software and techs with implementation experience.

Kind Regards,

Thomas Garvey
