Re: Change in support for Infor BPCS 6.002 and 6.004

One thing I've learned when dealing with them is this:  Never assume that 
something like this doesn't mean they wouldn't still help you out with...

For example.  If your current machine dies, and you need to move to a new 
box (same model even) can you get a key for your BPCS 6.004 for this new 
machine, after this date?
If you try to upgrade to whatever comes after IBM i 7.3 and there's an 
issue will they issue a fix?
If you put a PTF on your current version of IBM i and IBM added a new 
feature which conflicts with this will Infor issue a fix?

I would suspect a definite no to the latter two and probably a negative 
also to the first one.

Effective March 31, 2018, Infor will no longer provide program updates, 
regulatory updates, or technology updates for Infor BPCS 6.002 and Infor 
BPCS 6.004. 

Infor BPCS 6.002 and 6.004 customers are encouraged to upgrade to Infor LX 

8.3.5 in order to continue to benefit from all applicable regulatory 
updates, technology updates, and program updates.
