Field reference file follow up

It may have been the same cross reference system but I have never had
anything to do with AS/SET.
I think one of the problems was that SSA went down the path of
developing all their own tools.
Aspect Computing developed Lansa around this time as a response to the
relative weakness of RPG as the only programming language for the
AS400.
It has been extremely successful with I think about 4000 clients
today. I don't know if AS/SET exists outside the BPCS environmnent.
Its just too hard to be the best at everything and the results show
that.
