We are on 8.3.5 and we have them. Based on the descriptions, it looks like they are a part of the new Role security. I cannot remember if the Role security enhancement came out as a BMR to 8.3.5 or if it was base. I'm guessing there is either a BMR missing or there were some special instructions that were not done when 8.3.5 (or the BMR) was installed.

________________________________

I have those views, but they are only on our test lpar and in a library called LX840F and not in our (copied from production) ERPLXF library.
Version 8.3 Release 03
> dspptf 1bpcs83
No PTF activity exists for product 1BPCS83.
> dspptf 1bpcs85
Product 1BPCS85 *ALL not supported or installed
> dspptf 1bpcs84
No PTF activity exists for product 1BPCS84.

Anything in your audit journals?

If they use BRMS and keep tapes for a spell you may be able to perform the following:
WRKOBJBRM OBJ(ERPLXF/ZX2VA3)
Since we keep our tapes for just over a year and there's no hits I'm guessing we've not had those in that library.
The ones in LX840F only appear on our most recent full system save and not on the previous quarters.

Hi,

I'm working with two clients who both have Infor LX v8.3.05. At least that's what the splash screen and SSASYSx data areas say.
But one of them is missing some views over the ZX2 and ZX3 files. Since these are fairly fundamental files in BPCS security, wouldn't there be some indication in release level or ptf level to identify whether your version has differences constituted by the presence of these views?

So, I'll put the question out there:

Do you have the SQL views named ZX2VA3, ZX2VA4, and ZX3VA3, ZX3VA4? And if so, what LX version are you on? How do you know that version for sure?

Best Regards,

Thomas Garvey
