First, use the LPLEX editor instead of CODE. Second, use the Remote System Explorer (RSE). When you bring up a program to edit with LPLEX, you get a panel on the right of the screen that shows files, subroutines, etc. Double click on any item and the editor will position to that point. A co-worker who develops in VB (along with RPG) was always comparing CODE. His VB editor would bring up a list of possible op codes when you started typing. Now with LPLEX you get that too. Key in the % sign and you get a popup window. This co-worker would sometimes use the old version of CODE. He installed version 4.0 on his notebook before going to the Las Vegas Conference. He has now changed the O/S on the notebook so he could install the 5.0.1 version and upgraded his desktop because of the things he saw there. He is now a convert. I wouldn't write code any other way now. Cyndi B.
