You wouldn't see anything, it's just a window with the error message
mentioned in this subject.

No.  As mentioned earlier, the only thing that had changed was I had placed
my password in the comm daemon setup.  That has been removed and it now
asks me for the password, so this isn't it.

It always happens "around" the member to open screen.  With 5.1, I've had
it happen when clicking on the plus sign next to a library.  I've had it
happen when entering a list argument in the top drop-down box.  I've had it
happen when double-clicking a member listed to be downloaded.
