Which  "java scripts" are you referring to?  The  library of JavaScript 
functions that drive the calendar or the HTML/JavaScript that will cause 
the calendar to appear on the page?

The JavaScript function library should go in  a .js file (e.g., 
myCalendar.js) in the ..\WebContent\webfacing\ClientSript\usr directory of 
your project.   Look in the WebFacing documentation under the section 
"Creating custom JavaScript library files" for details.  This is a good 
source of basic information that you should read.

Where to put the JavaScript on the page is described very well by the 
Mastering The IBM WebFacing RedBook itself with pictures to clarify the 
text.

How to deal with random JavaScript calendars is, well, left as an exercise 
for the reader.  You will find that most have more or less the same basic 
functions but often you will have to tweak them a bit to suit a particular 
situation.

Webface Popup Calendar






Has anyone implemented a popup calendar in a Webface application?
 
I have the Mastering Webface redbook and the downloads, but where 
do I put the java scripts in the project?
Also, if you have implemented any other type of calendar (I actualy 
need one that will return mmddyy format) please advise what to put 
where.
 I have seen a number of free js calendars on the web, but do not 
know how to implement in a webface application.
