Command Shell

I started having Code act wired after I do a compile it switches to the 
command shell. I can't fine any where to control this, i'm not sure why 
it started doing it. It never use to. I have X-seup and have set it to 
both active windows settings but that didn't make any difference. Thanks 
for any help Bill
