Honestly, running Domino on Power 9 without the fix was so unstable
performance never even entered our minds.
But since the fix performance has been so good that the boss quickly had
me move all US users back to it.

instructions, which is exposed by the P9 hardware.
CORRECTION FOR APAR MA47187 :

The necessary synchronization instructions are added to the SLB
management code. This corrects the problem.

Do NOT upgrade to P9 when running Domino on IBM i.
Multiple customers experiencing issues.
When this gets resolved I'll let you know.
- Affecting customers running Sametime on IBM i on Power 9 (not us)
- Affecting customers using Domino clustering on IBM i on Power 9 (us).
- New case today with a small shop doing neither clustering or Sametime.
They are busting hump to get this resolved.
