Hi Chad,

It looks like your hotfix is specific to version 12.0.2.  My understanding 
is this hotfix will work for any "flavor" of Domino 12.0.2, whether that 
is 12.0.2 without any fix packs, or version 12.0.2 with FP1 or FP2 or FP3 
or FP4, ....

I doesn't matter. This patch will overlay the "timeincr" service program. 

If you deploy the current hotfix, any subsequent fix packs that do not 
have this hotfix included will require you to issue the RSTOBJ and 
UPDSRVPGM commands. 

Once this hotfix is included in a fixpack, the extra commands/steps will 
no longer be necessary.

Kim,

Can you confirm if the multi fix pack version capable version of this fix
is titled "HotFix_1202ALL_TIMEINCR"?

When I call HCL Support and talk with the first level technician, she was
steering me down a path and telling me I need to upgrade first from fp3 to
fp5 and then install the hotfix for fp5... but when she sent me a link to
the code it seems to be more of a multi fixpack version of the fix, very
much like you described...

I didn't get super clear answers from support so i'm hoping to confirm if
the version sent to me seems to match the version you mention in your
initial listserv email...

IBM i customers should open a Case with HCL to get the hotfix for this
issue as it's hasn't been uploaded to the support portal yet.  I already
have it for two of my customers.

The great news is it's simple to install and will work for all "flavors"
of a given release.  For example, if you have a 12.0.2 server, that server
can be at the base 12.0.2 code level, or any of the fix pack levels for
12.0.2.

It's a savefile you download, FTP to your server and then issue a restore
object command and an UPDSRVPGM command.  You'll want to have your servers
ended while you issue the RSTOBJ and the UPDSRVPGM commands.

The timeincr service program is what gets updated.
