Forecast/MRP interfacing.

Greetings,

 

I wonder if there is anyone out there that could offer some guidance on how
I go about interfacing a bespoke "forecast" application into MRP/MPS. 

 

I have reviewed the (Focus) Forecast module and the MRP/MPS forecasting
modules but I am not convinced my approach is sound. 

 

We have a very simple customer forecast application where anticipated sales
are maintained by the salesmen for each customer/item/year/period. I would
like this data to appear as demand in the MRP/MPS application. What would be
the best way of doing this? Do I need to load the data into the MRP/MPS
forecast application or do I load it into MRP/MPS directly and if so, which
files should I be looking at ?
