Re: Transfer Costs to Inventory - 4/MDC

I believe that only the blank cost set is used to copy to the Stockroom  
balance files, so be sure that the company of interest has the latest costs in  
that cost set. Also, unless this has been changed since 3.5.2B, any  
Item/Stockroom records with Landed Costs won't be updated by the transfer  job.

Our  company is updating their standard costs on their parts.  We have one  
company that is having problems.  When looking at Indented inputs  report, 
it shows new costs, but when we run the program to transfer the  costs to 
inventory, DB047, the costs are not being updated.  I see  that it looks at 
the MSP05 file (Item Cost file) and updates the cost in  that file to the 
stockroom balance file, but the costs don't match those  on the indented 
inputs report.

Can anyone shed some light on what  might be causing our problem?  TIA.
