Do you have the following flag set to '1' on your G/L company profile? Separate DR & CR . . . . 0 (0/1) If so, do you need it set? Some countries have a requirement that the debits posted to control accounts (A/R & A/P) balance based on by debit & credit to transactions in the subsidiary ledger. This flag sets on this validation, which might be the error you are getting. If you do not need this type o validation for your country, then simply turning this flag off may fix your problem. If not there is a way to correct the data, but you probably need to call Answerlink for assistance. Many people think that if you simply want to see debits and credits printed separately on reports you need to set this flag on. That is not the case.
