Aurora 2.1 to 2.2 migration

I've seen that some users from Belgium planned migration from 2.1 to 2.2 a
while a go.
How did it go?
Any other experiences are also more than welcome.
Did you have to do a migration or you got away with a set of PTFs?
Are there any significant DB changes?
