Reference Number Question

I'm trying to determine why for some parts, when I go into the inventory 
movement summary I see the reference number for credits for some parts and 
on others I don't.  But when I go into the transaction input inquiry for 
those same parts, I see the backflushed quantity's for the parts.  Someone 
has asked me this question and I don't have an answer for them.  Can 
anyone help me?
