A/R Credit manager

We're on version 3.5.1 without maintenance and some of our Credit Manager 
balances do not reflect the open items.  The balance rebuild does not 
correct this.  Can anyone recommend a resource that is strong in the 
System 21 A/R modules that can still support the prior versions?
