This is killing me. JBA V3.5.2 We have a F/Cast for a finished good item set up using 13/MPF. Records in MSP75. The bill of material for the item looks fine, demand policy on the finished good is 2, i.e. MPFF04 = "2" and so do all the components on production details. I run MPS, MRP. I expect to see forecast demand for all the components after this process but I don't see it for all components. Sometimes I only see demand for some components if I set the forecast quantity to a much higher number. To add to my confusion, I was under the impression that program MR009 performed the "explosion" of inputs for the finished good item but it doesn't. It will only do that if the demand policy is 4. So where is the demand for inputs getting created ? Does anybody have a flowchart or dataflow diagram of what is going on ? Does MRP even create demand for forecast ?!! _______________________________________________ This is the System 21 Users (SYSTEM21) mailing list To post a message email: SYSTEM21-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/system21 or email: SYSTEM21-request-Zwy7GipZuJhWk0Htik3J/[email protected] Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/system21.
