Hello Guy

We did a similar thing some 6 years ago when we went through a
management buyout and had to change the year end, from October to April
if I recall. It meant creating a "short" year, with the result that we
are now a year ahead of the actual year on of S21 financial calendar,
and the process needed some direct file manipulation. We got Infor in to
do that.

We have been using JBA Financials, Purchase Management, Sales &
Inventory
for the past 10 years with Financial Year from January to December.
Now we have been told that the Financial Year will be from July to June.
This means that exceptionally this year will be from January to June
2010;
and Financial Year 2011 will start in July 2010 to end June 2011.
We have not yet realised the implications. We are planning to bo through
infobase and create a test company. If anyone has gone through this
situation before and would like to share their experience.
