Hi Deepali

For BS accounts, the YTD figure is also cleared down at year end, BUT the
cumulative balance field builds up year on year.

Hope this helps

Simon Sherwood

Thank you all for your responses.

Simon, the ledger is BS in which my account lies. So is it true in this case
also ?

Richard, Does that mean for BS account, the 'Cum. balance' is taken into the
new year as is but the 'YTD' is cleared ?

Regards,
Deepali
