Re: JBA End of month AP closure

Check the task that failed when you lost connection...
There may be task dependencies...
If the system thinks the job is still running because it never deallocated itself then this might cause the message...

Try this:

STRIPGAM
5. Operational Enquiries   
2. Active Jobs

See if you can find your job on the list...
If it says something like this:
          THIS JOB HAS FINISHED WITHOUT DE-ALLOCATION                   
 THIS IS BECAUSE THE JOB HAS BEEN CANCELLED WHILST ON JOBQ OR ACTIVE    
                                                                        
              DE-ALLOCATION (F13) IS RECOMMENDED                        

Then Press F13 to Deallocate that job...

Check your AP Calendar before trying to open the period again...
