Re: CPYSPLF from batch job

John, I don't believe you need a source license to acquire an individual source member from the Infor support site.  Go to:
 
http://support.mapics.com/cgi-einfo/foxweb.exe/afdsrc?&tp=ct

and put in the source file name for the CL or program in question (you have to have a log in).  You could then put the RTVJOBA command in the job immediately before the report program executes, and then put the CPYSPLF command in afterwards, along with a submit to do your update/maintenance.

That's one way.  Another way is (as Jim Sansi suggested) to put it in a separate output queue and either manually pull it and process it through your modification process (Gag!  But it is easy.).  Or if you use Jim's suggestion, you could write a process to monitor that output queue and process the report when it appears.

We actually have used all 3 methods, plus a 4th where we had a job send the report automatically (using Cornerstone's Unifier product) when a job hit the output queue.  But the 4th required (obviously) that we have the product.
