Re: Infor Audits

I have not noticed any problems created by the audit, but I received an E-mail from Infor today indicating the audit software is not colleting the required data.  (Possibly due to lack of ALLOBJ rights mentioned below)

They supply pretty good details on downloading & running the software, but there is quite a bit of documentation to read.   Time required depends on how detailed you want to get reading the associated documentation and/or investigating what they are doing.

Jeff,

The last and only time I have done something like this for another
vendor, they did all kinds of nasty things like change system values,
create files in various libraries and did not remove them.    Does this
audit do any nasties??   Can you describe what the procedure is?

We just completed the 3rd week (out of 6) of the audit process.   We
objected to giving ALLOBJ rights to the user ID running the software and
were told it was not required.   We also requested to see the files
being sent and were provided with software to decrypt the files for
viewing prior to sending.   Audit software runs in the background, but
does cause minor delays if loaded on your day to day office PC. (as
opposed to a PC sitting in the corner)
