AMDMIE1C: Range of subscript value or character string error

GM list: We are on MAPICS Rel 6 and have EPDM. One of our clients wants to copy an existing item revision. They pull up the existing item and then they do a "Maintain > Copy" and re is where it hangs up. The program that it points to its AMDMIE1C (a CLP) and I can't download a source to see the code. I checked on the Knowledgebase but I did not find (in my quick review) anything bringing some details on this. The message is: Message ID . . . . . . : MCH0603 Severity . . . . . . . : 40 Message type . . . . . : Escape Date sent . . . . . . : 08/04/09 Time sent . . . . . . : 08:46:11 Message . . . . : Range of subscript value or character string error. Cause . . . . . : Either the subscript value is less than the lower bound of the array, or greater than the upper bound of the array, or the compound operand defined a character string outside the bounds of the base character string. The instruction ended. Any advise is highly appreciated.
