I was assured that their Smartaudit does NOT write to or otherwise update your production systems. This is written on page 2 of their install instructions. I was also told that on the phone. We started their audit yesterday and on this morning's SOX report we see they put a file call AUDITTB into library QGPL. Now I have to do all of the $#@%^&*ing SOX paperwork to justify that being there including getting 6 signatures!! Also this paperwork is supposed to be done BEFORE things get loaded.... dates will be after the fact now.
