Purge OEITXN?

I've been asked to purge some of the 9,000,000 records we have in our OEITXN file. Has anyone done this? The Accounting Department will make the call on which years to delete. I was surprised to see that the Infor XA KnowledgeBase doesn't have any solutions for this.
