We just upgraded our network switches to 1Gb bandwidth. The only issue would become with out client's PCs. Citrix is not inexpensive solution - we could use Terminal server instead. But with 100 users running on one server - that could also be an overkill. We place the Citrix servers in our server area with high bandwidth...and the users continue to run their 'old' systems. Also, using Citrix alleviates the VPN concerns. None of our users have 4GB of memory, so it's quite an addition.
