Does anyone have WAN users running PowerLink? If so, how did you do it? For our R6 remote Browser users we setup Browser on a 2008R2 Remote Desktop Services (aka Terminal) server. Response time is good since the terminal server is on the same LAN as the iSeries. We are now testing R7.8. PowerLink (at the moment) does not support 64 bit, so the server won't run PowerLink. When we tested running PowerLink on workstations over a 3MB WAN link its taking approximately 35 seconds to open a view - totally unacceptable. We have Integrator but not Enterprise Integrator, so we need PowerLink for our custom objects.
